This is one of my favorite gifts; I use it all the time.

iPads are very handy, they offer an extremely light-weight alternative to laptops when you are often on the go, and need mobile computing. Waiting on your wife at the dentist, sitting at a cafe waiting for friends, long trips to the restroom ‘room where you normally take magazines’ or really just about anywhere…

Touch pads are great, don’t get me wrong, but there are just those times when a real keyboard is much more suitable. Writing this article, for instance… I could have easily written it typing on the touch screen keyboard, but really for more than just a few words, the touch screen becomes a bit more cumbersome.

I got this case for Xmas this year, and after charging it up, I put it to use. And use. And use… I’m not kidding, the battery lasted for two months with both myself using it to work on website code, and my son using it to play games for hours.
